Wind and Rainstorm Damage in Fort Pierce

The strong winds ripped the shingles off a section of the roof in this Fort Pierce rental property that was fortunately vacant at the time. Our SERVPRO team of ASD applied structural drying technicians can first remove the water-logged ceiling panels and insulation as shown in the Before Photo. Another area suffered soaking of the carpet, so it was removed, and air movers were set up to start the drying process. We can monitor the speed of return to a standard moisture content of building elements with thermal and sensory devices. Of course, our first step was to place a blue tarp over the damaged roof to prevent further water damage from the rain.
